Having recently joining DMJ Recruitment as a Consultant on our Private Practice Recruitment Team, I have found myself considering the jouey that led into this exciting new position.
Before the pandemic, I was a Law graduate working in sales, still trying to figure out my career path until I came across recruitment and realised that I could combine my degree with my employment experience and put both skillsets to use!
I fell into sales accidentally and was shocked to discover how many transferrable skills I had from reading Law at university that have supported my recruitment career. Both are conducted within a fast-paced environment, both require an effective and diligent approach, but most importantly both need an ability to listen and build long term relationships.
These experiences shaped me into becoming an organised, pragmatic induvial who can see the bigger picture. I am a people person and love to be busy as it challenges and pushes me. Legal recruitment ticks all the boxes, and I am excited to see how my career develops at DMJ!
