Job Description

Small professional services firm require a proficient minute taker.

This dynamic firm of company secretaries require someone who can hit the ground running and assist the team to deliver outstanding meeting support to their growing client base.

The ideal candidate should have excellent written communication skills and be able to produce concise minutes in a variety of styles.

The firm requires someone who can adapt their writing style to the demands of their clients and work across multiple market sectors.

The ideal candidate should also have a keen interest in the role of Company Secretary and be willing to support the wider team in a variety of company secretarial and governance tasks and projects.

This is a permanent post but could also be adjusted to suit a self-employed contractor. This position is based on circa. 30 hours per week and meetings are mostly held in London, but the person must be willing to travel to meet clients as and when required. All travel expenses will be paid.

When not at meetings, the person can be based in the London office or at home.

The role would be ideally suited to someone who enjoys taking minutes and supporting various committees and Boards at levels across an organisation.

The ideal candidate should have excellent presentation skills, be willing to work independently, flexibly, be ready for new challenges and have the ability to assist the wider team, always with a positive 'can do' attitude.

Essentials:
Have excellent minute taking skills (ideally 2 years+ experience)
Understands the role of Company Secretary and the importance of a meeting support service
Be well organised and detail orientated
Impeccable phone manner and grasp of the English Language
Be proactive, efficient, self motivated and a self starter
Be a positive 'can do' person with an ability to think 'outside the box'
Be very flexible to deal with a variety of client demands
Be able to work independently and flexibly
Some evening working may also be required
