*FTSE 250 Trainee Company Secretary opportunity*

Client service orientated financial services organisation require a junior company secretarial assistant to be part of a small London set-up.

The business is seeking a corporate administrator, reporting to a dedicated manager and director where you will provide a full suite of corporate secretarial and administrative services to a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

Maintaining strong relationships with the company's corporate and institutional clients including working with management in becoming a key contact across a dedicated portfolio of structures;
Handling day to day operations of the companies/entities and responding to clients' request in a timely manner;
Participate in board meetings, drafting and keeping minutes of the meetings;
Preparation of board packs ahead of board meetings
Assisting with the preparation of statutory and corporate governance related matters in respect of the team portfolio including shareholder's resolutions and associated local filings;
Assistance on the incorporation process of companies and establishment of charitable trusts;
Ensure all entity records and statutory registers are properly maintained;
Responsible for filing of the Companies' records, archiving and updating internal databases;
Escalating any issue to managers and strict follow up on pending issues;
Responsibility for the billing and financial aspects of clients within the portfolio, including raising invoices and ensuring all working capital cycle tasks are completed in a timely manner;
Perform other duties to support the Manager and team as may be necessary from time-to-time.

Skills / experience required
- Motivated and driven;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Word and other related Office products;
- Very good attention to detail and high level of accuracy on work;
- An understanding of statutory laws and other related corporate governance regimes; and
- Previous experience dealing with institutional and corporate clients would be ideal.
