Superb opportunity exists for an experienced Company Secretarial Assistant

About the team

The team plays a key role ensuring that, as a FTSE listed business, they meet our legal, regulatory and compliance responsibilities whilst providing professional company secretarial support to the board of directors.

This new role reflects the increasing demands on the company secretarial team. Over the course of a year, the team not only work on core company secretarial tasks but also on lots of new projects and initiatives.

About the Role

You will:

Work closely with the Deputy Company Secretary to carry out a range of day to day activities as well as developing your skills on a variety of projects and initiatives
Assist with important business facing activities such as the grant and maturity of management share options, long term incentive plans and share save plans; the production of our annual report and accounts as well as corporate social responsibility reporting; and maintenance of the corporate website
Analyse data for the share schemes as well as financial reporting within the department. You will assist with the production and reconciliation of data in relation to the Company share plan schemes and for providing accurate information and analyses to be used by other teams within the finance department
Keep up to date with regulation and best practice as well as keeping reference libraries up to date for the senior managers and directors

About You

Excellent accuracy, diligence and attention to detail
Company secretarial experience or experience working in an accountancy background and with good numeracy skills
Ability to take on board unexpected tasks, reprioritise and plan time to meet key deliverables
Excellent communication skills and ability to progress tasks to completion
A great team player with flexibility to cover for other team members when required
Good Excel and Word skills with experience of providing reporting and financial analysis to others, including senior management and directors
