Job Description

An alternative property investment platform is hiring a risk and compliance analyst into their lean legal team.

Offering a fantastic remuneration package, this role is crucial in the team, offering a high level of responsibility and exposure to a junior analyst.

The position's responsibilities are effectively split two-fold;
50% of the role will be governance-focused. This will entail supporting the General Counsel to maintain statutory registers with Companies House, formulate board meeting agendas and minuting board meetings.

The other 50% of the role entails risk and compliance support. This will include meeting regularly with senior stakeholders, with the platform to be an independent voice and raise any risks you have encountered. There will also be the duty of supporting AML and other investigations, as well as working with the Data Protection Officer on GDPR matters - broadening the scope of your role and further opportunities.

Aside from the generous package and broad role with a great amount of responsibility, another appeal is the General Counsel you will be working directly with. They are an incredibly impressive lawyer, with nearly 20-years' experience working in law and business in the financial services sector, and will be more than happy to support your development.

Ideal Experience:
-Experience in the financial services sector;
-Stakeholder management;
-Knowledge of UK legal environment (Evidenced by a qualifying law degree);
-Experience of risk and compliance;
-Experience of working with/under the FCA regulations
