Job Description

Projects / Project Finance Associate with c.3 - 5 pqe sought to join a global law firm to play a key role in its high end and well established Dubai practice.

This role will involve covering a broad mix of work, particularly involving acting for clients in a range of sectors i.e. infrastructure, energy (conventional / renewables), construction, government etc. Undertaking a mix of projects, EPC, corporate, project financing work, from outset to conclusion. The position will be to work closely with the lead partner in Dubai, along with the broader team and with clients, in relation to projects in the UAE and the broader Middle East and Africa. The firm acts for energy (renewables / conventional) companies, governments, sponsors, financial institutions etc. in relation to financing on high profile energy, power and infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate should be a Common Law qualified lawyer, with c.3 - 5 pqe based either in the UAE with a legal directories ranked law firm, or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia or New Zealand. The firm is interested in a high calibre individual who has experience of dealing with oil & gas sector work and clients, who will be able and comfortable working independently and / or within a team structure. High quality Lawyers, with projects, project finance experience and looking to specialise in the area are also welcome for consideration.

Excellent global law firm tax free rates of remuneration on offer to attract a high calibre associate. For those relocating internationally with the remuneration levels on offer and as income tax free this can lead to a potential increases in net / take home remuneration of c.50 - 80%, so an attractive financial prospect.
