Job Description

A UK household name is seeking a Company Secretarial and Legal Assistant to join their small and impressive legal team. This position will allow for fantastic exposure within a very supportive company, reporting directly into the Deputy Company Secretary and with a dotted line to the Head of Legal, the team are seeking an individual with prior cosec experience, fantastic communication skills and the confidence to liaise with individuals at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

*Ensure statutory compliance for the group, including 40 subsidiary companies
*Drafting subsidiary board minutes
*General assistance with the annual report
*Co-ordinate arrangement for the company's AGM
*Routine FCA compliance
*Maintenance of issued share capital records and filing of share scheme tax returns
*Supporting registration and monitoring of trademarks with external trademark attorneys
*Managing insurance claims with insurance providers

Required Experience

*Previous company secretarial experience ideally within a Plc
*Currently studying, or seeking to study, for ICSA qualification
*The ability to multi-task and communicate with individuals at all levels within the business
*Previous experience of using Blueprint software (or equivalent)
*Well-developed technical computer skills
