Commercial Property - London - Legal 500 - 5+ PQE

Our Client, a well-established, very well regarded practice, listed on the Legal 500, is currently looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their London office on a permanent basis.

The Real Estate Team have a reputation for having a very pragmatic and efficient approach to commercial property conveyancing and expertise which includes the following areas; buying and selling freehold and leasehold properties; joint venture and other developments; landlord and tenant issues; entering into leases whether as a landlord or tenant; and commercial mediation.

As the successful candidate you should be at least 5 years PQE and have a range of Commercial Property experience, which should include; experience drafting and dealing with new or lease renewals/assignments whether acting for the landlord/ tenant; drafting and dealing with licences and rent deposit deeds; drafting deeds of surrender and authorised guarantee agreements; knowledge of bridging loan finance transactions; drafting security documentation and where relevant advising the client on the terms of the loan; dealing with the purchase/sale of commercial properties; preparing auction packs for commercial sales or advising on auction packs; and it is essential that the successful candidate also be computer literate with knowledge of case management systems.

This is a senior position so candidates will be expected to manage a full extensive caseload and hit the ground running with minimal supervision. You will also be expected to get actively involved in business development for the firm.
