A major global infrastructure investor is seeking to recruit an Investment Manager for their Central London office.The opportunity will suit a lawyer with networking skills who is willing to apply those skills to help source and identify new project opportunities.
You will be responsible for business development and reviewing, advising and negotiating contractual documentation including -
*Structuring the financial and commercial positions of individual projects, either as part of a bid, new development opportunity or subsequent refinancing
*Guiding projects through various stages including pre-qualification, tender preparation and submission, land acquisition, funding document and project negotiations and any subsequent operational activities
*Negotiating, preparing and reviewing project documentation including construction contracts, funding agreements, development and/or JV agreements
*Interfacing between the bid team and financial and legal advisers, banks and other financial institutions through the bid and financial close process
The successful candidate will work on several active projects including projects in bidding, construction and operational phase.
The ideal candidate will mostly like be a 0-3 PQE lawyer from private practice or in-house with construction, real estate and/or real estate finance experience looking to step into a commercial role. Experience in student accommodation or PRS would be advantageous.
