Job Description

A west midlands based housing association is currently seeking a Governance Manager to join the governance team.

Your role is to act as first point of contact for the Group's Boards and Committees in all matters relating to governance and company secretarial work. You must therefore have excellent communication skills and feel confident liaising with senior individuals across the business.

You will also be required to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and governance best practice and maintain statutory registers and a schedule of (and complete) and file statutory and regulatory returns. You must therefore have an excellent attention to detail and organisations skills in this role.

The ideal candidate will be:
- ICSA qualified or with a relevant legal degree
- Previous experience working with Boards and Committees
- An understanding of housing regulations or experience within another regulated sector
- Experience minuting meetings
