Job Description
Fantastic Director level role exists within the legal Managed Service business within this Big 4 firm
This is not a standard technical corporate secretarial or governance role. There will be a focus on collaborative project based work, innovation and increased efficiency and cost effectiveness.
The candidate will be responsible for operating at a senior level both internally, managing key stakeholder relationships, and externally managing senior client relationships. They will also be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients including the commercial and engagement metrics.
The successful applicant will be keen to develop their multinational team who are located in various sites around EMEA. Importantly, this individual will have a direct and critical role in developing the other members of the team.
The candidate will be required to develop strategic solutions to enhance our service offerings, improve profitability and promote knowledge sharing across the global ECG team.
There is a strong delivery mandate and also an increasing focus on technology and solutions development so the successful applicant will also be required to embrace technology and be confident in applying technology to solve clients problems.
Skills and attributes for success
*Strong technical grounding in governance, corporate secretarial or legal operations.
*Experience managing and developing senior stakeholder relationships, preferably in a service provider capacity
*Solution mindset and experience in project managing the implementing or deployment of a technology application or system.
*Track record in managing, developing and nurturing team members.
*Self-awareness and the ability to identify and drive their own self-development.
*The ability to develop and manage relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external).
*An appetite for rolling their sleeves up and getting into delivery on complex global projects.
To qualify for the role you must have
*Experience managing complex and / or multi-jurisdictional projects
*Account management experience
*Experience managing and developing teams
Ideally, you'll also have
*Experience working in a professional services firm (preferably Big 4)
*Good understanding of corporate governance
*Experience in a senior operations and/or technology deployment role
