FS Regulatory / Funds Lawyer - excellent w/l balance
|Job Title:||FS Regulatory / Funds Lawyer - excellent w/l balance|
|Salary:||£85000 - £100000 per annum|
|Contact Name:||Saad Akhtar|
|Job Published:||February 17, 2017 15:33|
Their current requirement is for a mid/senior FS Regulatory lawyer to work predominantly on funds matters (minimum 4 years pqe). The team has recently taken on a number of new funds as clients and now looking to bolster the team to service these. The team generally does a broad mixture of contentious and non-contentious work, it is by no means a pure funds role, rather that is the area that is busy for them at the moment. You will be involved in advising on how to set up and structure these funds, authorisations, notifications, consumer credit, Section 166 interventions, etc.
Currently the team is made up of a very well known and highly regarded partner as well as one junior, so there is a big gap in the middle which they are looking to fill. There is therefore a very good platform for an ambitious and reliable lawyer to come in and make a name for themselves. BD is encouraged as it is a very entrepreneurial practice and as a result there are very good prospects for partnership in the medium/short term.
To be considered you should have a solid Financial Services background, the partner is willing to look at a purely continuous or purely non-contentious lawyer who is looking to broaden out. Those from inhouse roles will also be considered and any experience of working with the FCA would be an advantage.
