Following a merger our client are hiring a Senior Assistant Company Secretary into a newly created role. Reporting to the Group Company Secretary, the role will have responsibility for managing a number of aspects of the Secretariat function and ad hoc projects.

You will assist in the delivery of a full company secretarial service to boards and committees within the Group. The intention is that you will develop your own "portfolio" of committees/subsidiary boards whose meetings you will organise and support. The role will assist with the monitoring and review of the effectiveness of the corporate governance framework. You will be the central point of contact responsible for the legal entity management of all Group subsidiaries (UK and Global) below main board level, to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as best practice.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 post qualification years experience gained within the insurance, financial services, professions or other highly regulated environment
