Job Description

Employment - Hertfordshire - Legal 500/Chambers Ranked

Our Client, a Legal 500 and Chambers Ranked practice, with offices in London and Home Counties, is looking to bolster their Employment Team in Hertfordshire. Our Client is a full service law firm and have a large team of lawyers covering a wide spectrum of practice areas nationwide. They have a stellar reputation, having won numerous awards for their legal expertise in recent times, including many 'top tier' rankings within the South East region, and are still considered the premier provider of Private Client services in Hertfordshire.

The Team advise on all aspects of Employment Law, both for organisations and individuals. They advise many businesses on complex issues that arise in running any HR function covering general day to day activities through to complex litigation. This includes representing employers at either the employment tribunal or the civil courts (including high court matters arising from the employment relationship).

Individuals are also advised on workplace disputes and periods of change, negotiating compromise or settlement agreements and supporting individuals through the dispute resolution process. Our Client also provides robust and sensible employment tribunal or court representation if necessary.

As the successful candidate you will be between 2 and 3 years PQE and experienced in a wide range of employment matters both on the Claimant and defendant sides. You should have a sound grasp of contentious issues including TUPE regulations, discrimination, restrictive covenants and the tribunal process. Experience of non-contentious employment law is also essential, particularly compromise and settlement agreements and matters relating to due diligence and transfer of business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to progress their career in one of the region's top firms. For more information, please contact Marc Jones on 0203 0581445 or 07921210176. Alternatively, please email marcj@dmjlegal.com.
