Our Client, a top tier Legal 500 and Chambers Ranked Practice who are one of the most well-regarded and well-established firms in the Country, are looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their team in Kent.

The firm have a reputation for providing high quality, intelligent advice and a legal service that is comprehensive, considered and confident. With a very strong offering in both private client and commercial law they are ranked in 14 specialist practice areas and have 26 lawyers in their teams recognised as "leaders in their field".

The Court of Protection Team has a national reputation and is recognised for its specialist experience involving people who lack capacity to make decisions for themselves. The team support families and can handle the most contentious litigation in the Court of Protection. Our Client's specialist lawyers provide high quality, intelligent advice that is comprehensive, considered and clear.

The role is an excellent opportunity for someone with good technical expertise, client relationship skills and an interest in business development. The role comprises all aspects of Court of Protection work. A lawyer at Solicitor or Associate level is sought, having several years' experience in this area.

The successful candidate will be expected to be expected to run matters independently, and as part of a team. Experience in business development and marketing, and a real enthusiasm to play an active role in business development will be required.

The ideal candidate is likely to come from a well-respected practice or major regional law firm. The position will suit someone who is ambitious, wanting to undertake high quality specialist work in this field, and keen to play a full part in growing this expanding area of law.
