Job Description

Job Summary:

Working in a two person team consisting of the Head of Corporate Management and Corporate Management Assistant. The role involves providing client administration and company secretarial services to the Company's clients together with maintaining internal compliance procedures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Using Blueprint to manage and keep up to date all the companies statutory obligations re statutory accounts filing deadlines, AGM and minute taking, Companies House statutory forms, Data Protection, persons with significant control register and Legal Entity Identifier renewals, UK and other listing authorities filing requirements
Dealing with daily correspondence received in respect of client companies including maintaining the internal filing systems of client companies and regular archiving of recurring documentation.
Ensuring files handed over by the new business team are correctly loaded into the compliance systems.
Ensuring Companies with listed debt file their accounts with the relevant Listing Authority in a timely fashion.
Where necessary appointing account preparers, auditors and tax agents and liaising with them as required on matters such as the timing of the account preparation and audit, submission of corporation tax returns and payment of corporation tax and any other issues that may arise.
Forwarding invoices of the client companies to the paying agent.

Assisting in the liquidation of companies including appointment of liquidators and ongoing assistance throughout the liquidation process. Maintaining internal records of each stage of the liquidation process.
Dealing with any other company or client related matters that may arise.
Complying with the company's Health and Safety policy and other procedures and policies as detailed in the Staff handbook.

Knowledge, Critical Skills/Expertise
Experience required
Financial services related environment.
Blueprint or other company secretarial related software.
Board minute preparation
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Windows or XP platform).

Experience desirable
Market Abuse Regulation
Corporation tax compliance.
Assisting in the audit process.
Members voluntary liquidations.
Securitisation industry.
Skills / abilities required

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both internally and externally with clients, auditors and tax advisors.
Work as a team member.
