This well regarded City law firm seek an experienced company secretary to provide the full range of company secretarial services to their clients. The role also involves working as part of a corporate team, providing advice and assistance (internally and externally) in the context of corporate transactions and arrangements, such as corporate reorganisations, acquisitions and disposals and group expansion.

The successful candidate should be fully ICSA qualified individual with circa 3 years company secretarial experience within the legal or professional services. They must have good hands-on experience of corporate support work and be keen to take on responsibility and handle their own caseload, as their work will involve a mix of a relatively high degree of responsibility and working as a member of a team on larger transactions. Experience in working with charitable and non-profit distributing companies as well as a familiarity with public company law issues and the AIM market would also be useful.
As well as good technical skills, the successful candidate will need the right interpersonal skills, and commercial sense, both to work with internal teams and to relate well to clients. There will be substantial direct contact with clients.
