Job Description

Based in the City, this asset management firm s looking for a qualified chartered secretary (preferably an ICSA Associate) to join its European team, based in London. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract role which forms part of a team of three company secretaries who are embedded in, and work closely with its European legal team.

About the Role

Offering a high level of responsibility, the selected candidate will be embedded within the business and will have the opportunity to work closely with commercial colleagues by providing day-to-day company secretarial support to entities across Europe (including managing outsourced service providers, board support, annual compliance requirements, monitoring and assisting with shareholders' agreement compliance, Blueprint maintenance, the establishment of new entities / structures, D&O insurance, liquidations, etc.) You will also provide advice, support and guidance for the management of entities involved in transaction activity by the firm's-managed funds (including portfolio company acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, refinancing and new fund establishments. Other responsibilities include co-ordinating corporate process elements of transaction execution and keeping abreast of regulatory and best practice developments.

About You

You are a qualified chartered secretary (preferably ICSA Associate) with [at least] 3 - 4 years' experience. You will ideally have experience of managing investment fund structures across a range of jurisdictions with exposure to the infrastructure sector and any M&A / restructuring experience is preferable. Individuals with general financial services experience will also be considered.

You enjoy assuming responsibility for delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and challenging environment. You are proficient in using CoSec database: Blueprint
