Job Description

Top tier Accountancy Firm seek a Company Secretarial Senior/Assistant manager with relevant experience. The firm will consider company secretarial professionals with previous Company Secretarial experience gained within the professional services space or in industry. You must be part-way through the ICSA qualification or fully ICSA qualified.

Person Specification
This role will suit an individual who is qualified or a part qualified Company Secretary with previous Company Secretarial experience with an ability to build relationships ad grow with the Company Secretarial team. A successful candidate would be innovative, creative and enthused to take responsibility.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
*To provide a full company secretarial service to an existing portfolio of clients, provide direct support to the Director of the Company Secretarial department, and to operate the Blueprint Company Secretarial package and prepare forms for clients and Companies House using the computer software.
*To assist with the maintenance of computer based records detailing the status and statutory records of each company, carry out one off and ad-hoc re-structuring and technical assignments liaising with accounts, auditing and tax departments as appropriate.
*To assist in marketing the services and skills of the Company Secretarial department, seek new opportunities and win clients and assignments for the Company Secretarial department, and ensure that clients are afforded the best possible service including communications and application of technical skills.
*To be innovative and creative in providing Company Secretarial solutions to support the work being done or proposed for by the accounts, audit and tax teams alongside developing a good working relationship across teams.
Competencies Required
*Fully Qualified Chartered Secretary or near Qualified.
*Excellent academic achievements.
*Strong organisational and good communication skills.
*Attention to detail
*Understanding of basic accounting practices and basic business skills
*Knowledge of the maintenance of statutory records
*Experience of incorporating companies.
