Company Secretarial Manager

Sector: Advisory professional services

Location: London and flexi working

Salary: £60,000- £65,000

A fast-growing professional services business which offers expert advice to their portfolio of listed clients are seeking a Manager to join their team. You will be working with clients in a broad ranging role, managing and training some junior team members. This role offers progression, development, and option to be involved with business development.

The role:
To undertake a broad scope of work for clients, including both full Company Secretarial and governance services to ad-hoc advice on both a retainer and project basis. Work undertaken for clients includes (but is not limited to) the following:
*Board/Board Committee Meetings - administration, agenda development, attendance, minutes and action lists
*AGMs and shareholder meetings
*Corporate Governance Code reviews and advice
*Corporate governance advice and support
*Preparation and review of clients' corporate governance sections of their ARA
*Corporate transaction support
*Liaising with other advisers and registrars
*MAR compliance
*AIM Rule 26 compliance
*Maintenance of group books and registers
*Share scheme administration and filings
*Board performance evaluation services

Requirements:
*ICSA qualified
*5+ years experience
*Previous work in a client facing capacity
*Listed company experience, inclusive of exposure to AIM.
*Familiarity with share option administration.
*Good Board/Board Committee level experience and minute taking.
*Good attention to detail, capable of prioritising workloads and delegating effectively.
*Experience in management of a team would be an advantage but is not essential.
*Willing to travel in the UK occasionally for client meetings (in due course)
