Job Description

Well known professional services outfit seek a Manager to take formal management responsibilities for a small team of ICSA part qualified company secretarial professionals.

The Manager will be required to:

*Manage the team of 6 part qualified company secretaries and work in conjunction with our international tax adviser and accounts assistant;
*Be involved in the statutory maintenance of a portfolio of UK and offshore companies;
*Provide ad hoc assistance and advice to clients on special projects, for example updating subsidiary company articles, carrying out group re-organisations, share exchanges, purchases of own shares, removal of a director, changes to articles, share buy- backs, reduction of share capital and re-registration;
*Train and mentor more junior members of the team with technical queries;
*Deal with telephone enquiries on routine matters and new enquiries;
*Assist with incorporations and maintenance of offshore companies;
*Due diligence compliance, including checking and monitoring clients;
*Update company fact sheets for clients;
*Liaise with IT department for Blueprint and any IT related department queries;
*Provide appropriate assistance to colleagues to set meetings with clients and prepare mailers for circulation to clients;
*Ensure department targets are met, monitor work in progress for client work and ensure bills are prepared and issued.
Qualifications/Experience

The Manager should be:
*Qualified ACIS or FCIS with at least five years' experience
*Advanced user of the ICSA Software package, Blueprint



Skills/Qualities

The candidate should be:
*Excellent communicator - there will be plenty of direct client liaison;
*A good prioritiser, able to manage their own workload and that of the team;
*Very resourceful - know where to look to find the answers even if the answer is not known;
*Committed to working in a professional environment and use synergies with other departments and offices in Leeds and Dublin;
