Job Description

Are you a Company Secretarial Assistant looking for more variety in their work, and a clear progression pathway?

This financial services company on the hunt for a determined individual with over 6 months experience to join their new Company secretarial team. This role will give you the tools to develop your skills and will offer a genuine scope for internal progression.

As well as being able to gain hands on practical experience from the outset, you will be based in their newly built modern central London office with exceptional tube and rail links.

With a portfolio of listed and limited entities to work with, you will be able to gain valuable senior exposure in a variety of industries.

Your team will be responsible for the management of both private and listed companies, organising, attending and minuting board meetings, upkeep of the company statutory records, involvement in ad hoc projects.

You will work closely with the Company Secretary to either private companies or venture capital trusts and/or several other limited liability partnerships/limited partnerships across the Group to enable directors and/or partners to fulfil their statutory obligations.

You will be able to:

*Support the Company Secretaries in the preparation and distribution of Board packs while monitoring of accounts and annual returns due for the portfolio companies.

*Deal with statutory filings and administration following allotment of shares, transfers of shares, buy-back of shares, including Companies House filings, updating Blueprint Registers.

*Maintenance of statutory filing system, including setting up of statutory books and registers for new companies for the portfolios

*Using company information tools such as Artesian/Companies House Direct to establish certain facts, downloading and uploading documents.

*Calendar management, timetabling Board meetings and assist with arranging meetings, dealing with room requirements.
