This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, market leading, disputes department that is highly ranked by all the leading legal directories and provides high-quality advice to private and commercial clients.

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 + pension & bonus

What will I be doing?
As an Associate, you will be working on high quality international litigation and arbitration. There is the opportunity for plenty of face time with both Partners and clients, especially so for Junior Associates.

*Afforded a lot of responsibility and trust at an early stage in your career, often acting as main point of contact for clients.
*Getting involved with marketing and promotional activities (e.g. published articles, speaking engagements, involvement in events and pitches)

Who will I be working with?
You will be working in a Partner led team consisting of 12 Partners and 8 Associates of varying level with paralegal and trainee support. The Partners here are known for their mentoring and open-door policy.

When working on cases the team tends to break down in to smaller groups of a Partner, an Associate and either a Trainee or Paralegal.

All fee earners are:
*Given a development plan and assigned a Partner to act as their mentor
*Able to decide on whether to maintain a broad caseload or focus on sector specific litigation.

What experience do I need?
Ideally, you would have:

*2-3 years PQE (approximate guideline)
*Experience and interest in complex multi-jurisdictional litigation in one of the following areas: Aviation, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, IP/Sports, White Collar Crime; Banking disputes
*Some experience of insolvency law and procedure (for example work for an Administrator/ Liquidator or alternatively, defending claims on behalf of former directors)
