A global market leader in the financial services sector specialising in diversified financial and governance services including transfer agency and share registration, employee equity, mortgaging, proxy solicitation, and stakeholder communications. Having originated out in Australia they have rapidly expanded globally and are now a trusted partner of the UK Government.
Role
You would be providing commercial legal support across the EMEA region and globally, helping the business to grow by driving compliance and mitigating risk. Your key responsibilities will include:
*Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and other legal documents to minimise risk
*Experience in at least one of the following: commercial contracts, IT, financial services law and regulation, corporate, data protection, commercial property, outsourcing, employment.
*Providing proactive legal advice to a multitude of international stakeholders across multiple businesses and jurisdictions
*Providing internal training to enhance the resources available to stakeholders
*Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and other legal documents to minimise risk
*Act as a business advisor to find creative solutions supporting the growth of the business
*Interact and manage third parties including external counsel and regulators
*Lead product development and integration of new businesses
Benefits
*£60,000 - £90,000 depending on location (London or Bristol)
