Job Description

One of the UK's Largest Mutual Insurers in the UK are currently recruiting for a Board Support coordinator. This is a newly created position as the secretariat function is looking to expand and they are looking for someone to specifically service around 200 of their boards and committees.

The day to day of the role will include:
*Board and committee meeting organisation
*Working with the team to ensure adequate planning of meeting dates, agendas and papers and that meeting papers are distributed on time
*Diary and calendar management
* "On the day" support to ensure attendees are available and technology is working
*Liaison with directors, senior management, and advisers, both internal and external, as well as colleagues at all levels within the business
*Basic administrative support to the team including team meeting support

The Successful candidate will demonstrate:
*Excellent administrative and IT skills
*Previous experience minuting board & committee meetings
*Relevant experience working in a company secretarial function or supporting Board level executives
Financial services experience useful but not essential
*Used to a busy office in a corporate environment
*Familiarity with audio and video conferencing and board portals
*Experience with Diligent software or similar board management software.
