You will work in both the Legal Entity Management and Governance & Advisory Subgroups to assist with the provision of global entity governance and compliance services to our clients.
The role will be to assist the existing team with current workloads, coordinating cross-border subsidiary compliance, consulting and governance matters for our clients.
As well as working directly with clients, the role will involve supporting management with special projects and initiatives as and when required.
About the role
Managing legal entity compliance and consistently demonstrating strong corporate governance in a global environment can be a very difficult challenge, especially as many overseas operations have a limited back office function. This exposes subsidiaries and their Directors and Officers to risks.
The main focus of the role will be:
Assisting with the co-ordination of the provision of company secretarial (compliance, consulting and governance) services to a wide range of clients.
Ensuring statutory compliance deadlines (accounts filings for example) are completed on time.
Instructing outside legal counsel in country to undertake special work such as share transfers, director changes etc. Sourcing and negotiating fees and project managing delivery of the work.
Provide support to senior colleagues in the transition and co-ordination of global compliance services. This may involve participating on client calls and preparing client deliverables.
Ensure effective, timely and accurate administration of client's corporate databases.
Direct contact with client representatives, including convening conference calls and meetings as and when required.

Working towards ICSA Chartered Secretary status
Strong organisation skills and proven IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. A good working knowledge of GEMS and/or Blueprint OneWorld would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong team working skills and ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to see tasks through to the end, taking responsibility for their completion and maintaining quality throughout.
Ability to prioritise workloads whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
