Job Description

A well-known utilities company based in the west midlands are currently seeking an Assistant company secretary. The role is to assist the Group financial controller with a specific focus on the company's insurance administration.

Key Responsibilities:
*Companies House filings
*Maintenance of official company records and books, including the review of company websites
*Responsibility for licenses and registrations, Data Protection, Consumer Credit and the promotion of this legislation within the business
*Updating the company secretarial system
*Preparation and administration of board minutes
*Preparation of dormant accounts

The successful candidate :
*Have prior experience of company secretarial duties in relation to insurance matters including renewal and maintenance matters
*Knowledge and understanding of pension scheme administrations
*Project management skills
*Ability to quickly understand business / commercial issues and suggest solutions
