This FTSE SmallCap property investor, based in London, is currently seeking an Interim Assistant Company Secretary to join them on a 12-month FTC, to cover maternity leave, to start in the New Year.

Please note this client is open to candidates looking for both full-time and part-time work. 

This role is responsible for the following core duties:

  • Ensuring the Group’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and maintaining Group governance policies and procedures within these regulations.
  • Drafting governance-related sections of the Annual Report and Accounts.
  • Preparing Notice of Meeting and ancillaries for the AGM and liaising with the Company Registrar for AGM preparation.
  • Responsible for the Group\'s Board and Committee meetings including; drafting governance-related Board and Committee papers as required and preparing Board and committee agendas
  • Maintenance of the statutory records and ensuring Group structures are updated on Diligent Entities. 

Suitable individuals will have the following:

  • Listed company experience or extensive limited company experience with a good understanding of best practices within governance. 
  • Confidence in working along and liaising within a small team environment
  • At least 5 years of previous UK company secretarial experience
  • Ability to start a new role within the next 2/3 months
