You will also be managing and developing relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record in a similar role. Key responsibilities include
- Oversight and management of the company secretarial function (including client correspondence and routine annual Companies House filings).
- Support of corporate transactions, including drafting board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, waivers and consents, as well as ensuring company books are updated and share certificates and Companies House filings are prepared and completed.
- The ability to be able to mentor and guide junior members of the company secretarial, trainee and/or paralegal teams.
- Arranging formation of new companies.
- Managing the firm's process agent function.
- CGI qualification is desirable.
- At least 6 years’ experience in a senior company secretarial role, ideally within a professional services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
