Our client, a well-established Corporate Services Provider, is seeking an experienced Company Secretarial Manager to join their professional team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be based in either Southampton or London, with regular travel to Southampton as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with the UK Companies Act 2006, corporate governance best practices, and regulatory requirements. Being the first point of contact for a number of corporate clients including Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Limited Partnerships and Charities.
- Operating as part of a team of company secretarial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development. Taking managerial responsibilities for a more junior member.
- Provide guidance to clients on statutory obligations, corporate structures, and governance matters.
- Facilitate and manage board and shareholder meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely filings with Companies House and other regulatory bodies.
- Support clients with corporate transactions, including incorporations, restructurings, and dissolutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory changes, advising clients accordingly.
- A Chartered Governance Institute (ICSA/CGI) qualification (or be working towards it, or alternatively significant experience in a company secretarial role, ideally within a corporate services, legal, or professional services environment.
- Strong technical expertise in UK company law, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering a high standard of professional service.
- Demonstrable leadership skills, with either management or mentorship experience
