This growing professional services firm is looking to hire an ambitious Company Secretarial Executive to join their growing cosec division Reporting to the Team Supervisor, you will use your industry experience and leadership qualities to deliver great company secretarial services to clients as well as to assist in the running of the busy department.

Your job will be to provide clients with event-driven technical company secretarial services (including transfers, allotments, re-designations, sub-divisions, reductions of share capital, etc.) as well as to manage a portfolio of ongoing clients (maintaining and updating their statutory registers, submitting filings to Companies House, and acting as their first point of contact). Later down the line, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure in more complex transactions such as share for share exchanges, article drafting and more.
Your job will also involve general supervisory duties over a team of 12 individuals in times of absence of the Team Supervisor. This includes the hosting of daily stand ups, helping train and support junior members of staff, providing management with reports, ensuring departmental policies are adhered to, undertaking 1-2-1 meetings, and more.
As a client-facing team member, you’ll need great interpersonal skills and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service in a timely manner. You’ll also need an eye for detail, an ability to deal with high volumes of work (including chasing customers and sending out reminders), as well as great organisational skills to ensure ongoing work is correctly tracked. The position also requires a commercial awareness, and an ability to identify and upsell additional services where possible. The company’s upselling scheme provides you with the opportunity to earn commission from your upselling efforts, on top of your basic salary.

Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least two years working in a company secretarial function
  • Experience in undertaking technical company secretarial transactions
  • Part or fully qualified CG
