A global law firm is seeking a Company Secretarial Assistant to join their team based in Milton Keynes. This role is responsible for technical support on routine company secretarial and related assignments as part of the Company Secretarial Team, which contributes to the quality, efficiency, and success of the Firm by providing company secretarial support and other related support to fee earners and to clients. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Update statutory books as appropriate (whether electronic or hard copy) for fee earners and clients.
  • Provide technical routine support and guidance on company secretarial matters to fee earners and to clients.
  • Have or develop an understanding of basic company structures (eg directors/secretary, shareholdings, registered office, accounting reference period, and shares) and deal with the relevant Companies House filings and notification of changes.
  • Draft simple board minutes and other company secretarial papers under close supervision.
  • Prepare, organise and file at Companies House (if required) forms for changes to the firms entities. 
Salary up to £40,000 plus excellent benefits.
