1. Tell us one interesting fact about you?
I completed my first London Marathon in 2015 in 4 hours 39 minutes.
2. What would be your favourite way to spend a day off?
Getting an early start, going for a run at Wimbledon Common, treatments in a spa and lunch with friends and ending it with some cocktails in a bar. Health and happiness!
3. Suit and tie, suit, jacket, smart casual or casual?
Tailor your appearance to the situation. As someone who very much enjoys putting outfits together, I would always advise leaning towards the smart side of casual without losing your individuality. For females, a bold statement necklace or earrings and coloured heels can really make an outfit look on-trend yet professional. For males, statement cufflinks and ties. The fit and cut of your suit is more important than where it is from.
4. What is your top tip to attract the best candidates?
As a recruiter your candidates are going to want to work with you and continue working with you if you show you are knowledgable, enjoy what you do and take an active interest in them as people. I like to get on a level with my candidates and find out more about them as people rather than focus on the professional situation in isolation of everything else. If you be yourself you are more likely to be memorable!
