We set up a Law Firms Mergers Desk in late 2007 as a result of considerable demand from a range of our clients to assist them in growing and have quickly built up a large database of Law firms in London and the Regions who are currently seeking to merge with other practices.

With our large network of clients throughout the UK and in depth knowledge of the workings of law firms from small one man practices to huge international firms we are well placed to advise firms on the options and opportunities available to them.

The Merger team is headed up by Justin Kopelowitz who qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and specialised in commercial property at Howard Kennedy prior to becoming a  partner at a small west end firm. He moved into legal recruitment in 1999 and now has the reputation as a leading name in partner and team moves.

We also work with Peter Scott who is a solicitor and was for eight years until 2000, the Managing Partner of Eversheds' London and European offices and who now runs Peter Scott Consulting. Peter is a frequent speaker at conferences and his articles are published in a number of well known legal journals. He is the editor of 'Practice Management Handbook' published by Law Society Publishing and advises firms on a range of issues, focusing in particular on performance management and helping law firms manage the merger process and subsequent merger integration.
